Info Post
(1973) ****

The plot is simple, Shakespearean actor Edward Kendal Sheridan Lionheart is pissed. After being panned by critics, his career takes a dive that he never recovers from. These critics must pay, and pay they will.

Vincent gets groovy, man.

Vincent Price is a master of disguise in this film. He really shows these critics how wrong they were by first fooling them. While in disguise, he uses different characters to lure in his victims, then he delights in the terror on their faces as he reveals his true identity, just before they die. It’s brilliant! Loaded with creative death scenes, Lionheart must have taken some notes from Phibes. So, if Dr. Phibes didn’t convince you to join the Vincent Price fan club, try watching Theater of Blood.
