Guillaume Canet's English-language remake of 2008 French film "Rivals" (aka. "Les liens du sang") takes place in the 1980's, and follows two brothers - one a pimp and the other a cop - with the former being the family favourite.
Canet starred in the original film and will work with James Gray on scripting the remake. He may also have a small role.
