The story follows Eisenhower "Ike" Bell , who aims to infiltrate the gangs of drug warlords whose fighting has been slowly suffocating a U.S. border town for generations.
Former Star Trek episodic spin off writer Robert Hewitt Wolfe penned the script.
Production will kick off sometime next year.
