Spencer Might Help Cody

Octavia Spencer is in early talks to join the cast of the now untitled Diablo Cody directorial debut aka "Lamb of God" says Variety.

The story centers on a sheltered young woman (Julianne Hough) who loses her faith after a plane crash and goes to Las Vegas, where she meets an unlikely companion (Russell Brand).

Spencer would play card dealer at a casino on the strip where Brand works.

Cody also wrote the script.
