Cusack Takes Nunber From Hawke; Joins Carnival!

John Cusack is set to replace the previously cast Ethan Hawke in the thriller "The Numbers Station" says The Hollywood Reporter.

The story follows a disgraced black ops agent charged with protecting a CIA code operator (Malin Akerman).

Danish director Kasper Barfoed is helming from a script by F. Scott Frazier.

Sean Furst, Bryan Furst and Nigel Thomas will produce.

Production kicks off in mid-November.

Cusack will also star opposite Johnny Knoxville in Joshua Michael Stern's new comedy Carnival!  according to The Hollywood Reporter.
