Mulligan Doubles Work Load

Carey Mulligan has won the female lead in Joel and Ethan Coen's new film "Inside Llewyn Davis, and is in negotiations for the lead female role in an Untitled Project from helmer Spike Jonze says Variety.

In 'Davis', Oscar Isaac plays a musician who tries to make it in the New York music scene in the 1960s.

The Coens wrote the script, will direct as well as produce the pic with Scott Rudin.

The Charlie Kaufman-written Jonze project follows world leaders uniting to discuss cataclysmic events.

Joaquin Phoenix also stars.

Megan Ellison is producing.

Mulligan is currently shooting "The Great Gatsby" and then will dive into 'Davis' in February with the Jonze project later in the Spring.
