Sony Pictures and Happy Madison are developing a feature film adaptation of the French Short Film "Bad Toys II" says Heat Vision.
A combination of computer animation, comic book panels and live-action, the short involves a destructive car chase on a level of a Michael Bay "Bad Boys" movie.
The short is a highly elaborate pre-vis version of an actual Bay-style chase sequence.
The feature film vesion will follow a grown man reconnecting with his youthful imagination through his son's toys, and his play turns into an homage to big-budget action films.
Adam Sandler and Jack Jack Giarraputo will produce the film
