Ian Shorr's script is being described as a thriller akin to that of Alfred Hitchcock's "Strangers On a Train,". The premise of which was itself based on a book by author Patricia Highsmith.
Substitution's plot centers on a substitute teacher who convices a high school student to take part in a murders-swapping plan.
Broderick Johnson, Andrew Kosove, Kevin McCormick and Steve Crystal will produce the pic.
