Originally thought of as a sequel to the Benicio Del Toro led flick The Wolfman directed by Joe Johnston-- the studio is instead doing an original film which will share a link to the original George Waggner 1941 film starring Lon Chaney Jr.
Michael Tabb has rewritten the script and shooting aims to kick off this Fall.
Bloody Disgusting adds that the film will go Direct To Disc rather than get a theatrical run. Ugh!
