The story follows Formula One racer Niki Lauda and his rivalry with fellow racer James Hunt (Hemsworth). Lauda barely survived a fiery crash during a 1976 race, and still came back a mere six weeks later to race Hunt.
Ron Howard may direct the film from a screenplay by Peter Morgan, though nothing has been settled yet
Brian Grazer, Brian Oliver Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner will produce the film
This is not to be confused with the Untitled James Hunt Biopic that has Alex Pettyfer in the driver's seat to star
