John Luessenhop ("Takers") calls action on the The Texas Chainsaw Massacre film series which picks up on events after Tobe Hooper's original 1974 horror classic in which Sally Hardesty (Marilyn Burns) was the sole surviving escapee of a group of friends who fall victim to a family of cannibals.
Bill Moseley Chop Top in the 1986 sequel The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 also stars
Adam Marcus and Debra Sullivan co-wrote the script with a polish by Kirsten Elms and Luessenhop. Carl Mazzocone is producing.
The premise sounds like they recycled the plot from Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Meyers
