Banks Joins Expecting

Elizabeth Banks has confirmed via Twitter that she has joined the film adaptation of "What To Expect When You're Expecting".

An adaptation of the guidebook of the same name the film will interweave the lives of several couples as they prepare for parenthood.

Banks will play the author of a manual on breast-feeding

Cameron Diaz, Rodrigo Santoro Jennifer Lopez Anna Kendrick Chris Rock and Brooklyn Decker also star

Whip It writer Shauna Cross and Heather Hach (“Freaky Friday)” will adapt authors Heidi Murkoff and Sharon Mazel bestseller into a screenplay.

Kirk Jones (“Nanny McPhee”) will call action on the film for producers Mike Medavoy, Arnie Messer, David Thwaites and Doug McKay.
